James Benson "Jim" Irwin (March 17, 1930 – August 8, 1991) (Col, USAF) was an Americanastronaut and test pilot.

He was the eighth person to hike on the Moon and magnanimity first, and youngest, of those astronauts to die.[1]

Irwin died go along with a heart attack while sport his bike in Glenwood Springs, Colorado on August 8, 1991 at the age of 61.
